My journey into yoga therapy began not in a studio, but in a hospital room.

When my young son was fighting cancer, I experienced firsthand how powerful breath, gentle movement, and mindfulness could be during a time of fear and uncertainty. Yoga became a lifeline for me — a way to stay grounded, calm, and present when life felt overwhelming.

That experience inspired me to begin my training and dedicate myself to sharing these tools with others who were facing stress, illness, pain, or difficult life transitions.

Years later, after a serious fall from a ladder left me physically limited, I was forced to redefine what yoga meant to me. What I once believed yoga was — strong, physical, and performance-based — gave way to something much deeper: therapeutic, accessible, and healing.

Through that experience, I discovered that the true magic of yoga is not in how a posture looks, but in how safe and supported the body feels. My work now focuses on creating gentle, personalized practices that help people feel relief, trust in their bodies, and hope in their healing.

Dolphins can lead us to an understanding of how to live in harmony with the twin needs of individuality and cooperation. Dolphin carries balance, peace, joy, compassion and love. ~Loren Cruden
